Project Overview
The goal of this project was to develop a scalable web platform where users can host and participate in fully virtual balloon races, while eliminating the environmental impact of physical events. Participants can join races from anywhere in the world, decorate their balloons, and compete using live weather conditions and mapping data, making each race both unpredictable and exciting.

Tech stack & project outcome
The result is a unique, interactive fundraising experience that’s both sustainable and engaging. BalloonRacing has helped charities and communities raise thousands through eco-friendly, online races that bring people together without harming the planet.
Built using Laravel Framework. The frontend has been developed using Vue.js with Inertia & Tailwind CSS. Other tools include live weather and mapping APIs.
